The new album from plaid is here (in pre-order and digital on bleep.com a least), and it comes with a very special CD packaging, either interesting and naive.
Following the recent inclination of the duo for Japan-oriented projects, this packaging is a "Muda na mono", the Japanese world for a "pointless object". The CD contains two die-cut rings that, once assembled with the cd, allows you to read the song titles.
The cryptic illustration is made with the letters of the title of the album (above), or with those of the band name (below). It you read it from left to right, it indeed says "scintilli" and "Plaid". As far as we could scout, it seems this artwork is a creation of the duo itself.
