While there is a strong trend about 8-bits illustrations, it has to be said that "retro" can be done without the evident retro-pixel artworks.
With this single from 2008, the artist La Boca did some fantastic works for The Emperor Machine (on J. Saul Kane's infamous DC Recordings label), and produced innovative retro-future images and typographies.
Of course Electro Techno is already by nature a look into the past (the whole Jam-On-It & Fresh thing was sooo1982!), but it looks a bit further than Pac-man and Q-bert. This one, just like most works La Boca did for The Emperor Machine, offers a vision that mixes cleverly the Future from 60' to 70'.
